A little help
along the way.
A few answers to make getting started easier.
Is it free to use?
Yes. You can sign up for free, write memories, attach one image to each memory, invite contributors, and set reminders. No credit card is required.
Does my family need an account?
No. Grandparents, loved ones, and other invited contributors receive a private magic link by email. They open it to write a memory and optionally add a photo — no username, password, or app to set up.
Who can see the memories?
The parent’s account holds the archive. Contributor links let invited people submit memories for the children you’ve selected; they don’t give access to browse the archive.
Can I take my memories with me?
Yes. You can download the entire archive as images and Markdown files, organised by child. Request a download from your profile; we’ll email you when the ZIP file is ready.
Do parents decide what stays in the archive?
Yes. You choose who to invite and which children each person can contribute to. Submitted memories appear in your archive, where you can edit or remove them. You can also remove contributors. You decide which stories to keep.
Where do I change my reminders?
Parents can set their own reminders in a child’s profile. Contributors can choose their reminder schedule on the contribution form reached through their email link.
My contribution link has expired. What should I do?
Ask the parent who invited you to send a new memory request. That email will contain a fresh link. Use the newest email you’ve received.
Where is my download?
Sign in and open Download your data in your profile. Entire archive shows the estimated size of a new copy and, when ready, the actual size and Download archive link for the prepared file. Last snapshot holds the previous prepared file. Each link expires 48 hours after its file is prepared; preparing a third copy removes the oldest. New copies include current stories and photos, with drafts left out.
